Music Therapy Service and Training Program for Physical Handicapped Students - Music Therapy! Beat the Life Rhythm!

The power of music is much more than serving as a “universal language” in which people from different cultures, races and backgrounds could all enjoy. Music is also an effective means to help students with special needs to express their feelings and enhance communications skills.

With the success of last year’s music therapy program in lifting students’ emotions and building their self-confidence, the Hong Kong Red Cross John F. Kennedy Centre (JFKC) hopes to further expand the music therapy program and provide more physically handicapped students with autism or autistic features with an opportunity to participate in the weekly music therapy service and training sessions.

We are now raising for $200,000 to provide JFKC’s students with music therapy service and training sessions, and your generous support is essential. Torchbearer World Foundation will also make a top up donation by matching your donation on 1:1 basis. The more donations we receive from you, a greater support will be offered by Torchbearer World Foundation!

Please act now and help students with special needs to develop confidence as well as music potentials in an enjoyable learning environment!
